You can print out the two views on your computer printer in the pdf file format and use artists' color markers, pens and pencils using the color swatches as a guide. Start with a base color of white. Have fun designing your color schemes.

After downloading the profile drawing, set your printer to landscape mode and enlarge 300% and print. To print out the top/bottom drawing, set your printer to portrait mode and enlarge 300%. You can find these settings in your printer page setup.

Great Lakes Biplane Suggested Colors:
We suggest using Prismacolor Premiere Colored Pencils and Markers. Visit their Web site for more information about their products. The PC numbers on the chart below are Prismacolor pencil numbers; the PM numbers are the markers. Other art tools needed are a straight-edge and curves. We suggest using Epson ink jet printer "Presentation Paper - Matte." This paper works well with colored pencils and markers. Colors will vary between your color monitor and artwork.
